According to a post from 'lars' at the bottom of this article - http://www.tvrblog.com/tvr-660-seac-a-mysterious-o... the 660 has been rescued and is currently being restored. Thought this would have been big news in the tvr world but I've been unable to find anything else on the subject. Anyone know more?????

When I tried to buy the car years ago the current owner decided to keep the car and restore it himself. So maybe its him, does seem strange that he's using the picture the owner sent me though.

Id love to know more about its current status too - I remember Steve's last postings about trying to buy it, but it seems its being kept fairly low key ...shame ..

This is interesting and a little bit of a pity that it isn't out there and visible. If it is getting restored great, but it would be good to see it.
I wonder how bad it got, I always had the impression it never really got used that much. sonar

I remember your dealings with this SEAC Steve...I was hoping you would get it, I wanted to have a closer look at this intriguing car! Maybe once it's restored the owner will post new images?

Zig - not sure if you know the story but Stainless moved heaven and high water trying to buy that beast. Probably cost him the price of a well sorted 350i in travel alone!! If i win the lottery i'd buy it for him as i know what it means to him bow

Hi mate..I did hear something about that...As i understood it the owner didn't need the money or the car it seemed and the last i heard it was in a leaky old barn somewhere in Sweden with the original engine in a crate...Just sitting there looking sad!....Please enlighten me if i have it wrong...
The Ultimate SEAC....Who wouldn't want it...Id have it over the racer any day....However i don't want it as bad as stainless does and by the sound of it he should have it...So if i win the lotto then ill chip in as well....Besides there is a whole host of other cars i dribble over...If only.....
