When to view a Tuscan yesterday, and much to my surprise my Ex Griff was parked up in a large building across the way.
I know it was advertised for sale by them but was VERY surprised to see it sat there feeling sorry for itself.
How can such a great Griff be sat there not being used, got a bit emotional looking around her and thinking of all the good times I had in it.
I know the price has been reduced so someone please go and give the old girl a try before I let myself get carried away and buy her myself!

that was was / is a nice car.
when I owned it I fully intended to keep it , but in the end the pull of another 500 was too strong. personally the advertised price , I think it is putting people off as in theory you should be able to get a good 500 for that. the chap that bought it off me bought it as an investment , so maybe cashing in early ? I know its a pre-cat , but with the 4 exit exhaust , it was a bit loud for me on a run & I prefer the refinement of a 500 , but it was a pleasure to own & will make someone a great buy. best regards , Doug

Thanks Doug.Thought it could be. In Juniper green I think. Mine was this colour until previous owner resprayed it Ocean Haze. The polished laquer does not seem to need any Autoglym polish when I tried a test patch. Strange! Anybody else found this experience?
yes your right it is Juniper green. I really wasn't sure about the colour until I viewed the car - it suits it really well. After I bought it I leant that the car started off in star -mist blue , which is one of my favourite colours ( although I am now finding myself strangely drawn to yellow ). The car did polish up really well. best regards , Doug

I've been in this loop especially with EGB before but my Griff 500 is Juniper Green from 'birth'. When I went to view it I wasn't sure but when I saw it I was, it's a cracking colour. Starmist Blue I really like, yellow I'm not so sure and I don't think they sell particularly well, it puts some people off (me if I'm honest). But hey, it's all personal opinion. Juniper green is an ace colour - but I'm biased lol. Does anyone know if it's a TVR specific colour as I'm having trouble getting it matched up from the paint code.
Apologies for thread hijack.
Its P159 according to this List.Apologies for thread hijack.

Hey chaps...
When I rebuilt her I chose the colour and it is Verdi green, a Fiat colour if memory serves me....
It's only 3k more than I sold it years ago and if I had the garage space then it would be back with me now... Took me 6 months to rebuild on and off. Miss her... Even the wife liked it!!

This colour looks very definitely like mine. STARMIST OCEAN HAZE. Code 182 Autopaint (St . Hellens) Same as Flip Flop Griff's. My uploaded pictures for PH turn somewhat bluer green. The plot thickens, like paint! When I rebuilt her I chose the colour and it is Verdi green, a Fiat colour if memory serves me....

My Griff at the moment is Starmist Crimson , which does look really nice & last year year at the Growl I saw a few in the same colour , but when I bought it I was just trying to get the best car I could find , stupidly ignoring the colour - & although it is a really good car , I cant help looking at starmst blue cars & Halcyon midas pearl. I am not sure if its worth taking a chance changing it just for the colour - & I really don't want to paint mine as the paint is all good / no stone chips etc. I will have to stop looking in the classifieds I think , as a few starmist blue cars that look nice have come up for sale.........

Eddie,I've seen this car a few times and its defo not ocean haze. I thought it was juniper to be honest as its very similar if not. Not many juniper car - I recall a 93 500 reg M6 TVR (never seen since about 95), and a genuine BV (which has been written off). Rare colour but very nice.

Thanks Paul. There we have it. Pics uploaded onto PH do show a suttle change of shade colour. The pic of my Ocean Haze is noticeably and annoyablly different to it in the flesh. Ocean Haze, Juniper Green and Fiat Verdi Green all good colours for our Griffs. I've seen this car a few times and its defo not ocean haze. Got a 3rd place in a recent local concours. Red immaculate MGA was a very worthy winner but my Griff beat a superb silver Rolls Royce wedding car.
PS: Guided busway doing a roaring trade.
