...smile: so did I...but I have to explain that I've checked the important things befor: e.g. engine, bodywork etc...its a completely rebuild car and its still in the garage to be finished - so I hope it was worth the "risks"...

nice picture...its a '76 with a 3 litre engine...so I hope I'm not going to have too many troubles with the chain driven camshafts...instead of the belts in the 308's and 2 and 2,5 litre urracos...waht do you think?

Wonderful stuff; the P250 was painfully slow but these P300s were acceptable.

The boy Bob Wallace, Ferruccio's tester & token antipodean has bemoaned the lack of development in Lambo's small V8s from this era.

A cavalier choice, congrats.

Perhaps start walking up to complete strangers, slap them across the face with your glove and demand satisfaction.

Preposterous behaviour by full bloodied Lamborghini owners. Hail.

Markus, just click 'quote' to see what fellow PHers do.

These are also nice ones and my choice out of the registry:

1979 Lamborghini Uracco P300 Chassis #20558 Engine #20558
Yellow over Black Leather with Grey Cloth Inserts.
Never registered, believed first delivery in Belgium, now undergoing engine rebuild. Should be the third last produced, latest deliverd in Belgium.

1979 Lamborghini Uracco P300 Chassis #20508 Engine #?
Here is a very interesting P300 with fuel injected engine. This may be factory equipment but we do not know at present. Anyone with information on this and the chassis # of this car, should contact us.

1975 Lamborghini Uracco P300
Chassis #20152 Engine #? One of only 205 produced. 250 HP, dual overhead CAM V-8. Only 8800 miles, original owner
This P300 featured in...
Automobile Quarterly, Vol. 23 #1, March, 1985
Automobile Quarterly Poster: "Lamborghini - The Quest for Perfection"
Complete book of Lamborghini, Pages 243-247 - Consumer's Guide
Back jacket cover - Complete book of Lamborghini, 1988
Lamborghini, Pages 204-205 - featured
Famous Car Factories - Lamborghini, 1991, page 46
