I really like the pics and vids I've seen on-line. Looks similar to the mini gp n the silver and red livery.
Currently have an M135i but would definitely like to go to my local dealer and have a good look around this.
Does anyone know when it will be available? I've read once article which stated this summer and a second claiming January next year at the earliest.
Anyone planning on buying one? I had a ride in a cooper s years ago and was very impressed - I'm hoping that the jcw could be the raw exciting driving experience I'm craving!

Thanks guys, I think you're right. I visited my local dealer today and he advised that it's highly likely it'll be next year before we see anything.
I also sat in a cooper s with all the toys which was quite nice but didn't blow me away tbh. Looking forward to seeing the new jcw in the metal though.

If you want back to basics then get the current JCW. I have one and I'd place it pretty close to the top of the best cars I've owned. Its not perfect but its fun to drive at any speed.

Indeed, I traded in my M135i for a Mini JCW.P
I won't say I don't miss the power and refinement of the Beemer but the Mini is far more composed and entertaining to drive at any speed.

Very interesting - I currently have the M135i which I've owned since October of last year. As you know, the power is immense but it leave me a bit cold. The only time I really smile is when I surprise much more expensive cars but other than that I find that whilst it's very quick, it doesn't make me want to just 'go for a drive'!
Try and find one with the JCW Recaro Buckets. They make a huge difference to how the car feels. They are a £3K option so not many cars have them. paulmon said:
