Can't see much similarity other than they are both glass fibre sports cars. hehe

I'm pretty stumped. Googled loads of pics but so far nothing quite right.

I just had a nose but couldn't find one that had indicators above the headlights, like in my pic.

You're right. It was a knee-jerk reaction, but the headlamps are too far forward. I thought maybe the sidelights on top of the wings were added by the owner - it's easy enough to do with GRP. But somehow I think I've seen it before. It's not a Fairthorpe, and it doesn't tally with anything on the usual Ford specials site.

Claim for Ashley withdrawn.

On googling they appear to be too dumpy. This has a kind of Austin Healey esque rear end but with the mysterious front...

It's more like a Convair, which has a bonnet hatch in the right place, but the headlights are still wrong.

Ashley 750 or Falcon Mk1 - depending on who built it and what wheelbase it has

http://www.britishpathe.com/video/car-transformati...

the indicators were probably grafted on by the owner

I see a similarity, it's just those indicator pods at the top of the wings... scratchchin

Here is another video of an Ashley 750

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hr80cHRVcxc

I’m 99,99% sure this car is one of the two, they were both built from the same molds but the founders of Ashley Laminates split up at some point and one of them kept building them under the name of Falcon. I think Falcon kept the shorter wheelbase molds while built the longer wheelbase version.

That looks an awful lot like the rear of an M.G.A, although the lights seem slightly different.
