Road bike purchase

Right then, I posted recently regarding a road bike, had a change of mind where budget is concerned and I'm gonna go new upto £600ish. Got these 3 in mind, what do people think?

Also, what people recommend as a decent set of pedals? Does anybody know of someone who could get me a deal on a bike? Needs to be west kids or free shipping.

All nice bikes, seem to be the go-to bikes in this price range, thinking outside the box though I would consider this as an option:

As for pedals for a first road bike you can't go wrong with shimano M520, cheap and easy to use introduction to SPD.

Those 3 are 9, 7 and 8 speed drivetrains.

For 599 you can get into 10-speed Tiagra - which is very nice indeed, I have it on my commuter - with this:

By the way, I have nothing against lower-spec gruppi, quite the opposite, but you can make a strong argument for getting into 10-speed if you can.

Definitely go Tiagra if you can. I think the current stuff is 10 Speed, so at least you have an upgrade path to 105 components if you want to go that route.

You can't really go wrong with any of the major brands ... there is no right or wrong, they all use the similar parts and have v similar frames at any price points. I would probably advise to get a bike fitted unless you are confident you can choose the right size online.
