I wonder if anyone may be able to assist. I have arranged for 3 middle aged 'boys' to attend the above. I gather that the entrance is free but you need to obtain a ticket in advance? Does anyone know how to go about this?

One of the party is celebrating his 50th, I realise that it will not be like Le Mans, but are there bars at the circuit where one can indulge on a few cold ones?

Haven't been for a few years, but expect that things haven't changed. Entry is just a case of walking in, no ticketing. There will be some catering above the pits, but unless there's been a significant change in the rules, there won't be any outlets selling alcohol. The circuit would have to apply for an alcohol licence, and i doubt that the crowd size makes that worthwhile. Alcohol is only usually available in hotels, and attached restaurants.
