on my new project car the boot only opens from the dash switch.
my old 450 opened by pressing the boot badge too which is normal?

Your old one must have been modded. I don't know of any Chimaera where the boot open from pushing the badge on the back.

It's nowhere near the boot mechanism for a start. Did your old one have an additional badge on the boot lip?

Sure it wasn't a Cerbera 450? That's how the boot opens on a Cerbera

That could be it I did have a cerb after the chim.
