As photographed by my detailing friend Paul, who is also handy with a camera.

I like this, a lot. Amazing colour/wheel spec too, definitely no longer the "poor mans 911"

Thanks. Def (biased) think it has its own look. I owned a gen1 (and have had a 997) and the gen 1 was lovely but not quite right from some angles. I have had more positive comments on this car in the past few days than any of the (40+) cars I have owned.

That really is very very lovely. Second pic down really does show it off at its best.

Paul Dalton? The photo location is quite a distance from his place (I live above 1 minute from where they are taken!)

This is gorgeous. Nice one.

How do you find it compared to your 997?
I'm still trying to decide whether to make the move from a 997 GTS to 981 GTS.
I thought I was gonna stick - but definitely swinging back the other way now.

Also - who did the detail? and does your car have PASM?

Yellow calipers means PCCB right? How have you found them?

And sorry to post the obvious question, but is it manual or PDK?

What a stunning car! What's the specification, if you don't mind me asking? PCCB suggests it's loaded!

Thanks all for the nice comments.

To try and answer all the questions;

Detailer: My detailer is Paul Townsend of Shine-on detailing. Top fella and highly recommended. I has applied Gteknik which is an awesome product.

Pics were taken in Fernhurst which is just down the road from me (I'm in Haslemere).

Car had 900 miles on. Kind chap spec'd it, had it 6 months, barely used it and sold it back to Porsche.

Spec is pretty nuts. Yes PCCBs and PASM. It is PDK. I think it was circa 70k to the first owner..

Cayman S

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)
20-inch Carrera S wheel
Wheels painted in satin platinum Exclusive
Seat heating
2-zone automatic air conditioning

Brakes so far seem pretty immense. Love PDK. Not done too many miles yet as I still have miles in hand on the 6 series before I hand it back next month which I am trying to make use of!
