chim + megasquirt1 + innovate mtx problem

Hi guys i have a daft problem that is starting to bug me.
I have an innovate mtx connected to a ms1 v3 via the yellow output wire and i am getting slightly different readings between the two. If the mtx gauge reads 15 then the ms reads 16..the ms always seems to be a touch higher. I have tried changing the sensor in tuner studio but that has made no difference.
The ms and mtx are earthed to the same point..i might try earthing to the engine tomorrow.
Its got me stumped now...its not a huge problem as i can work out roughly where and when its running rich or lean but it would be nice to have them matching.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
