It's a keeper. My wallet has been emptied continuously since I bought it, yet I haven't renewed the tyres and brakes. The first 13 months nearly bankrupted me. This year the wallet emptying was my own fault with a remap and sports exhaust and I have just come back from the specialist now after having him go through with a fine tooth comb for all the rusty bolts etc on the underside. After three days driving and old Clio courtesy car then jumping back into mine, jesus it is solid - like a new car but 14 years old, it sounds great, it goes like stink and fairly practical. Why change?

Mine too! Had it 3 & 1/2 years now. Just don't know what I could replace it with if I did decide to change.

Wheel refurb next and I would like to replace the 4 spoke carbon wheel with a 3 spoke, but I am finding the 3 spoke hard to find with the grey leather

They are expensive to keep right thats for sure i'm on my 3rd one and this one is proving to be expensive, in fact its emptied my wallet today.
But when i look at the history its had 1000's spent on it.

GT2 wheels
GT2 kit
DMS Upgrade (Re-Map/Exhaust)
Forge actuators and uprated springs
Forge Diverter Valves
997 GT2 Intercoolers
Now boosting 1.4 bar again

Expensive but epic car.

Bargain of the century, despite the over assisted controls, under servoed brakes, and loose, jangly gear change smile. All easily sorted of course, I mean for a 14 year old car they really do shift.
