XKR 2012 rear bumper query

Has anyone tried fitting the carbon rear bumper diffuser from an XKR-S to a 2012 model car?

Are the skins generically the same?

You will have to look for a replica one. Jaguar will not let you order one unless you have an RS. I had to order a carbon front splitter for a customer and we had to provide them with chassis numbers and a picture of the damaged one before they would give us a new one. Also originals are hugely expencive. I think it was in the region of £2000 for the front splitter alone.

I know the perceived Jaguar RS order scenario - wouldn't buy new anyway as they're way too much.
Interestingly when I inquired with my local dealer about front bumper components - all being RS specific - they had now problems answering queries and offered to order up as required. They were aware is wasn't for a genuine RS car!

I'm more interested to understand how different the two bumpers are in the area where the diffuser is attached and more importantly whether it can be grafted onto a 2012 year item without enormous amounts of difficulty.
