coolant temp sender

Any one no a cross ref part number for the coolant temp gauge. It must be a part from something else.

Thanks for the useful info however both lists only list the ecu sensor not the gauge one?

Im sorry maybe im being thick but I can see the fan switch and the ecu temp sender but not the one for the gauge on the dash?

Specialist job... Clever Trevor etc. don't do the 180ohm resister trick in the LR sender though as it under reads once above set temp. Use something like Spiyda to calibrate it properly)

Am i right in saying the sender does not sit in moving water ? Is it the adapter causing the problem, Why dot just fit it in to a coolant pipe .

It must be a part from something I cant see tvr having the sensor made as a one off for the car.
Looks easy enough to fit just whip the dizzy off and swap it over.

If not ill have to nip to tvr power in cov and pick one up.

You can't just use any sender. It needs to be matched to the gauge.

Exactly, and gauges from 2 different makers have been installed.

Location also depends on which inlet manifold (serp / pre-serp) both on the front of the manifold, early roughly behind the alt, later roughly underneath in valley.

Unless the OP describes what his car is its not possible to give accurate replys to his questions.
