Hi

I know these 'how much is it worth questions don't get much interest - but here goes anyway!!

I'm thinking of getting a new Defender90 - which will be my third.

A number of friends/aquantancies have expressed an interest in purchasing my present one, but I need help on the value.
I have looked through the auto trader and they vary massively and my car is an anomaly as it has done so few miles

I have no problem selling it to a friend because it has never had any problems.

The car has had light use as a van so a few scrapes inside, but no dents to bodywork and in good condition apart from the normal rust by the tow bar.

Here are a few details of the car:

I have owned from new.
Paint work should come up like new - it has only been washed perhaps 6 times in the 9 years of ownership!
55 reg
Black
County
3 seats
18000 miles!!!
2 land rover service stamps then yearly by a local garage with all MOTs present.

Any ideas?

Prices are all over the place, I'll have a stab as no one else has, £10-12k

Did you get a trade in price when you were buying the new one?

Yes - I was thinking 10-12k - but that's a big difference!

No I have not had a trade in price offered as this will be in a few weeks and even then will probably sell it privately and negotiate a better purchase price.
