BBQ'd Suffolk Chicken and Prawns
Discussion
Following on from the Lamb http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... last weekend, i decided to go for some Suffolk Chicken this weekend.
Marinaded in Asian flavours, i've ground down some spices and made a mix similar to Togarishi (Chilli, orange, sesame seeds, szechaun peppercorns) and used a drip of sesame oil, tamari soy sauce, fresh coriander and some yuzu juice. I've used a Chipotle chili to warm things up a bit though.

Delicious.
Chicken is quite hard to do on a barbecue usually because of different meat thicknesses, but i find that constantly turning the meat gets an even cook (Turn every minute essentially).
Get a weber!! I had so many issues with chickens on a regular barbeque that I ended up having to oven cook them a bit first.Chicken is quite hard to do on a barbecue usually because of different meat thicknesses, but i find that constantly turning the meat gets an even cook (Turn every minute essentially).
With the weber its so easy to do with the indirect heat.... best purchase I've ever made.
