Cerb just passed the mot. :-) Always hate that MOT feeling.
Needs a few things seeing to. He suggests handbrake adjustment it was 'marginal' ;-) Also anti roll bar linkages front and rear. And he suggests the fuel filter (which I think is in rear near side wheel arch?).
Anyway - I think I will just order up the parts and get them to the same garage for them to change on a sat morning. Anyone know what parts make up the arb linkage and where to get them?
He also suggests cleaning down the parts in the wheel arch and he will treat them with something (something better than waxoyl).

Garry it depends what the problem is, are the ARB joints shot? in which case the new drop links are from £27-£37 each from the usual proprietors but Clever Trevor appear slightly cheaper you need 2 front and 2 rear.
However if its the bush thats worn then they are only a couple of quid a piece.

Fuel filter is about £25 again from usual TVR outlets or from alternative parts list....Coopers part number FIG 7003 (also fits some BMWs & Porsches)
or Bosch part no: 0450-905-084 or 957
or FRAM P3831

While we are talking ARB bushes, is it better to poly bush these or are they better rubber?
Cheers
Pete

Your handbrake is pretty poor (it's a cerb!) but I don't understand the advisories on the ARB drop links.
The rears are a short drop link with a rose joint and two rubber washers .. there was nothing wrong with them (i'd had the rear pivot bushes apart to stop them creaking so I had already done some work on the rear ARB area ..)
The front ARB drop links often have bits of rubber coming out from the bonded knuckle joint bit, but it doesn't really affect their operation until they're completely goosed, a fail not an advise in that case.

Oops just noticed this... I do trust my mot man albeit he has mentioned these each year and I've ignored it! Maybe I've wasted money on new ones!

Haven't had them fitted yet, but am not sure I have the correct rear ones...apparently they come in different lengths depending on yr of manufacture. Clever Trevor say I need to measure current ones to be sure.....
