Need opinion on Proflow stainless exhausts for a 5.0 V8

Currently I have twin cherry bombs exiting from either side of the rear of my IROC. Sounds great but the way it was done was poor as it has to branch either side at the back from a single pipe. The pipe that was used was too small and has to run at 90 degree angles and I imagine it is robbing a bit of power especially as I have ceramic coated headers (exhaust manifolds) and Hedman Y pipe.
The thing is it sounds lovely. I found a place that specialise in Proflow systems and they can use a 1 in 2 out small chamber for the rear pipes like the original set up-
It should be more powerful but will I miss the old school sound of glasspack cherry bombs? Modern tech vs simplicity.
What are your thoughts? Anyone used this Proflow lot?
