We have ceramic brakes and carbon buckets available as weight saving options, even on the base 2.7L models.

You can spec an Akrapovic one onto a Renault Megane (with some other manufacturers to follow suit), so why not a Porsche ?

The cost would be huge and therefore take up would be relatively small.

So its probably not worth the development etc.

IMA: Question is aimed at non-RS cars.

There has been news recently of two manufacturers striking deals with Akropovic to supply them for hot-hatches. And you will be able to tick the box for under two grand.

I find it hard to believe that the take up would be less than ceramic brakes and/or bucket seats. The amount of non GTx cars which have PCCB specced is really small.

Titanium exhausts have neaver been cheap I can remember paying £2 k for a full system for a suzuki GSXR when the bike new cost 6 k so that's a third of cost of bike so system for gt3/rs costing 6/7k when car costs 100+k is like for like you pays your money you take your choice

Alfa will be offering a OEM carbon and titanium exhaust (by Akropovic) as an option on the forthcoming Alfa 4c Spider.

BMW have been offering Akra exhausts for ///M cars for a while now.

Think an F10 M5 system is around £6k but shouldn't 911s be significantly cheaper due an engine position which should require far less tubing than a hot hatch even?

Yea I do agree but making a exhaust using less tubing should mean less $$ but when they see the car and badge on the front it goes think of the numbers and add a third ! and yes that will do nicely sir

Factory sanctioned but dealer fit. Branded as ///M performance. Warranty intact etc.

On my F10M I take the cheaper option of opening the windows. Plenty of real sound

I would of thought most owners would rather have titanium exhaust bolts so it's Mich easier to replace for an aftermarket one.
