SAAB TTiD veering to right side on heavy braking.

Unsure if this is due to the undulations on the s
t roads where I live. But had to brake hard yesterday in the SAAB.
The steering wheel jolted to the right hand side which was a tad disconcerning. Car has had new discs and pads all round.
Could it be due to a bad caliper? need re-alignment?

Did it just happen the once, or every time? Maybe try finding a dry straight road and brake hard (having checked there's nothing behind obviously!!) to see what happens?
It could just have been that the left hand front wheel was on gravel or a damp patch, and so the right hand one gripped a lot better causing the imbalance.
Or it could be a sticky caliper, but in my experience that normally causes the sticking side to get really hot in normal driving long before it causes any noticeable imbalance whilst braking.
