Looking for Aqua Blue GTS
Discussion
Hi Ive been reading threads on the forum for quite some time and have a vague recollection of a post detailing the colour's of 911's registered . I thought it was on how many left but was obviously wrong.
The reason for this is to try and determine the likely hood of me finding a GTS in this colour . Been searching for a PDK version due to a dodgy Knee . Any help would be most appreciated .

Certainly not impossible to find but one of the rarer colours on a GTS. Have been scanning OPC approved for a GTS (2WD Coupe) for past year or so. I'd say white is most popular and then red, black, silver and grey roughly similar then blue behind this.
I can see the appeal - it's a nice colour.
On the plus, pdk should be less of a problem. Deciding you must have a manual is what restricts your choice.
Good luck

My neighbour has a GTS in aqua and it's PDK. Don't know if he's selling it though. He doesn't really mingle with the rest of the village. Pity as he has a collection of rare pork and just sold his '73 RS last year apparently so I'd probably enjoy a good chat with him.
That doesn't help you but they are out there.

I know I'm in for a long wait but it will be worth it but maybe persuaded on a different colour should the right car come along

Was my first choice, but absolutely nothing in the OPC network and I was looking/waiting for 7 months. Naturally, the OPC sales guy did the 'we've never had a used one in since I've worked here and that's 2 years now...' as I was ready to buy. Ended up with white and even then, some compromise was made on my ideal spec. If you can hold on most of them are coming up to 3 years old now, so could be more choice over next few months, as people look to trade in rather than renew warranties etc.
Ive been waiting for a long time now , primarily waiting for a garage to be built , lots of boring issues with planning . I would like to say i have the patience to wait for my first choice colour but am prepared to compromise . I've left details with a number of OPC's in the hope something will turn up .
