I'm thinking about buying a 2007 Gen 1 997 C4S Tiptronic.

What I'd like to know is what's Tiptronic like on a C4S?

TBH I would be more concerned what the engine was like.......

Tiptronics were okay in their day...superceeded by the much improved PDKs.

I have a 2006 model and I think they are brilliant, manuals are for dinosaurs, although you do have that option.

Back in the day (I'm an old codger)I'd agree with you but depends were you live and with traffic conditions in Yorkshire it's a no brainer.

Traffic conditions in Yorkshire? Meaning what, I genuinely don't know whether you are recommending auto or manual transmission.
