Bike mounted pumps

Just started on the slippery slope of road bikes and currently carry a can of 'tyre weld' type foam, luckily I've not yet needed to use it but would be a lot happier with a spare tube (picked one up today) or good old fashioned puncture repairs kits, got plenty, but currently not got a decent bike mounted pump.
Seen quite a few out and about today that looked tiny and quite cool but no idea if they are actually any good which is, at the side if the road, the important bit.
So, any recommendations?

Lezyme road drive. Brilliant bit of kit.
It's what I use, and it's been pretty good so far. In fact, anything by Lezyne would be OK in terms of a pump, just make sure you buy 'HP' (high pressure) for a road bike, and 'HV' (high volume) if it's for a MTB. Each will put air into a tyre OK, but you won't get up to proper road pressures with a 'HV' pump.
Just replaced my Race Rocket with a Lezyne Tech Drive (HV - MTB version).
So much better - the Race Rocket was really awkward to get onto the (Presta) valve and last weekend it stuck on and I had to snap off the end of the valve to get the pump off, ruining it in the process. Luckily another one of the group had a pump ... the Lezyne. Which I bought as soon as I got home - already earned its keep when the missus got a puncture yesterday.

Anyone ever tried a 'Airbone' looked smart but that means nothing if it couldn't blow up a ballon, the local TKMaxx had then in for a tenner.
