Martin Pennington 'detailed' the S, and the result of the valeting job is nothing short of stunning!! The shine is deeper, wetter, oilier and well... shinier than ever before, a total transformation!

I took some photos today, but unfortunately
1) Today is a very dark dull and gloomy grey day without sunlight
2) The photos were taken on portrait mode, and the camera blurred elements which are not in focus.

So it goes without saying the car looks 100 times better in real life

You can download the photos here

The 8th photo (thats not snot hanging from my nose ) shows the depth of the reflectiveness - at some angles, you can't see the car, the shine and reflective finish is so strong. The photos just dont do the car justice.

Again, if anyone wants to reach him, his number is 07770 537697.

Mothers - the stuff available both commercially and non-commercially.

He's been in the industry 20 odd years, tried everything under the sun, used to use Zymol but switched to mothers as he cant get a better finish using anything else, he says.

I bought a full range of mothers stuff, to help me maintain the finish. Speak to Martin about price.

Wow! She looks the dogs danglies. One hell of a nice car Bob. Why don't you submit a couple to Sprint, I think TVR_V8S_03 is a superb picture.

Cheers Steve If we get some sunshine this weekend, I'll re-do the photos. Does sprint have a website?

Course not, 7 makes a nice wallpaper Its 'almost' impossible to tell what model of TVR pic 7 is, unless you are familiar with the S series.

Oi, cheeky monkey

Pies, you use mothers, can you reveal exactly which products, which order, how many coats etc you use (and how long it takes you )

re: stone chips, I have them same as everyone else. But mine are special UKBob chips which hide when cameras focus in on them.

Sunglasses?? Those are just solar panels mate, to keep my brain warm in winter

I was just waiting for someone to say something

Hoover, you are forgiven for not hinting in any way that my parking skills could be improved

If anyone has a spare pair up for grabs at a reasonable price, can you email me through my profile

I have a spare pair, unfortunately I'm going to be putting them on or keeping them to add to the package for when I sell the S for my Griff/Chim

I'm sure i'll need them as I'll be parking behind my mini again. Last time I wrote off 2 in a week.

I've just been looking at the Mothers website. It all looks very similar to Meguairs with the 3 stage polish/wax products. Very good value too, esp. with the current $/£ rate.

Martin, any thoughts on the Meguairs range compared to what you use? Pies, not sure about Martins claybar - I know mothers sell one.

Personally, Id rather Martin spent 8 hours claying the car than attempting to do it myself. I almost went deaf my knees creaked so loudly when standing up after just 10 mintues of crouch-photography.
