Smart Roadster Tracking problems

Hi All,

Not so long ago I had a little 'incident' in a smart roadster. (Competing in a 12-car rally which ended prematurely in a ditch....)

The short of it is that the tracking is knocked out (outward toe) with no more travel. Garage reckons that part of the suspension assembly is bent and has suggested replacing it all on the nearside.

Any suggestions which are a little cheaper?

I imagine the garage know whether that is the case or not.

I would not be fixing something as critical as suspension on a budget. Maybe shop around at specialists...

Garage didn't pinpoint the exact problem, as they were not a smart specialist. All they knew is that they ran out of travel.
