V12 - How much louder does is SPORT from outside
Discussion
I'm addicted to SPORT mode in my new V12, and whilst it makes a huge difference to the sound inside the cabin, I was wondering if there was a noticeable difference outside? I refuse to let anybody drive my car yet so have no way of knowing! They seem pretty similar when revving in neutral.
Yes it makes a difference from the outside too, but if you just pull out the exhaust fuse (either No 22 or 15 depending on age) you wont need the sport button as the exhaust valves are then permanently open.
Plus you will find that with sport off you have more control of the throttle as it will remain linear in response and so controlling wheel spin in the wet is a little easier.

In the footwell down by the petrol cap release. You'll find a small black rocker switch hidden where the plastic trim finishes... Difficult to describe the exact loCation, but if you get a torch and stick your head down there you should easily see it.
Up for closed down for open...
This is very good news! Is it exactly the same as removing the fuse - i.e. bypass valve open through the entire rev range?Up for closed down for open...
