Evening everyone

Sadly my car (993 C4) doesn't have a decent shelter this coming winter. Can anyone suggest a good quality cover that actually works, keeps the rain out but breathes and protects please? Or are they more trouble than their worth???

Thanks in advance all

What you said at the end. Dont get one, they are pointless. Your car will be just fine outside. Keep it coated with 2 layers of fl1000p, bodywork and alloys.

Hmmm. If I had a nice 993 I don't think I'd want to leave it out all winter.

If it is used each day, gets up to temperature and has air flowing through it, then it may be ok. But, if it's just sitting there, I'd investigate some anti-corrosion treatment and a multi-layer breathable fitted cover (try Covercraft).

I used one a few years back, to good effect, but I'd only put a cover on a clean car.

If it's a daily / regular driver don't. Now matter how good the cover you will do more harm than good. If it's not driven much over winter find somewhere undercover to store it. Last resort is a cover but even a clean car and good cover = abrasion rubs
