I am looking for a piece for my wife's 50th.

If you know of any specialists can you post them in here?

I need Jewellers who put their antique portfolio on-line. Has to be UK based. I suspect a purchasing trip to London will be required but I'll travel the country for the right piece.

What is the right piece? I have no idea! I think diamonds will be involved and possibly sapphires as well. Probably a necklace but maybe a pendant or a broach. Art Deco pieces will be favoured but not to the exclusion of all else. Budget is around 5k but I would go to 10 for an exceptional piece.

We have bought a number of pieces from Ogdens of Harrogate. Old established family firm. Also have a shop in York. Always bought in person though.

I know. The treatment, though working, must be fking with your memory 'cos one of the pieces in that thread you made for me!

Sorry, Eddie.

Besides, I'm not looking for bespoke I want vintage/antique. I'd quite like (to get for my wife, he said for the avoidance of embarassing quotes) a necklace that can be mounted onto a frame to become a tiara but don't know if my budget is realistic for such a thing.

Ha! I think you are right. Chemo brain!

In that case I'll bugger off. Lol

Hope all is well with you and yours. Keep in touch.
