disc brake compatible aero wheels

looking to acquire some disc brake compatible aero wheels but options seem to be limited. does anyone have experience of such wheels? ideally looking at around 50 - 55mm depth. i want mavics, but they don't seem to make them.

I suspect as it's relatively new tech for road wheels you'll have to get a set built.

H Plus Son make a 42mm aero rim which is pretty widely available, I think its the same/simliar to the IRD cadence 42mm rim, they come in 24/28/32/36 hole drillings. Whether you can get a disc brake compatible hub in the right width yet is another matter... try the Hope Pro 2/3?

Think you'll struggle at that depth as there aren't any TT frames running discs. Most of the aero disc rims are in the 40mm - 45mm range.

Closest you'll get are probably the Reynolds Assault SLG Discs or Enve SES 3.4 Disc or as others have said custom handbuilts.

There are a number of ebay sellers who are supplying 50mm and 38mm disc mount clinchers. Expect to pay around £350 all in including shipping.

I just ordered some 38mm ones, they arrived safely a few days ago but I haven't had a chance to really try them out yet. They seem nicely put together though.
