any ideas on intermittent loss of boost pressure when driven

Hi All,

I own a 997tt gen 1 tip. Boost pressure normally gets up to 1.1-1.2 bar when nailing it. After being driven hard for a while then backing of and then wanting to boot it again i sometimes get massive power loss and only achieve 0.2 bar of pressure. Everything sounds mechanically fine, Engine just feels very flat. Never been remapped or tuned yet but looking at taking it to fearnsport once its fixed.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

Just had a similar problem.
Turned out the actuators were sticking and i had a leak on the system.
Free'd them off and fixed the leak now boosting 1.3 to 1.4.

Actuators yes, boost issue may be more complex

Just had exactly same problem.....thought i had put a batch of bad fuel in occasionally until the boys at Porschtek in Leeds noticed it when it was in for an oil change...must just have been sticking now and then....100% better now.
