Injured Cyclist 13th July

I entered the Ripon Sportive on Sunday 13th July, the 4 climbs from stage 1 of the TDF. During the descent of Kidstones there had been an accident where a fellow cyclist had came off, the ambulance was there and all looked under control although he was in a stretcher and had a neck brace on. I hope the lad is ok, does anyone know if he is ok or not?
There was other events on the same route that day, so I'm unsure whether he was in the Wiggle event which was on the same roads. Any info would be appreciated,
