the next little thing to look at on my car is the lack of a blower iv checked the fuse at that is fine. where abouts is the motor located so that I can test for power?

Before that search out threads on here about the control box which is under the dash behind the wheel controls.

A dodgy connection is often the cause of no air.

The fan is located within the NS wing, just in front of the door. It is accessed via a removable panel in the passenger footwell, the battery needs to be removed.

If you have an early car, then the fan is just run direct from the fan switch.

Over the hill has it. The common fault is a wire connecting to the control box. It overheats and burns out the connector.

The black box is central under the dash top. Ask if you need to know how to get the top off. The big cream coloured connector will probably have a burnt out terminal. Use the search - there's a pictorial guide on bypassing it.

All fixed thanks for the advice it was the wire at the control box

Still no ac working though I guess it has no gas in it.
