Buying a car from a Car Supermarket

Last week I purchased a VW High Up from a Car Supermarket and was expecting it to arrive at their local branch for collection. The car has been transported but arrived with no V5 so they cannot do the handover and are blaming the DVLA and can't give me a collection date, saying only that it is the DVLA's fault.
Along with this they persuaded me not to P/X but to take my trade in to a well known Car Buying Company, who in fairness offered a very reasonable price, so the deal was done but when I said that I wanted a no P/X discount they flatly refused, saying they price to sell and had no margin and I had to pay for RFL £20, Pre-Dispatch inspection £99 and Delivery at £99.
I paid the £300 Deposit in good faith as the Car was advertised with the V5 present, they have offered a £99 discount by way of compensation but No Delivery Date. I'm a bit pissed off, should I cancel the order altogether and start the search all over again?

What is it they are waiting for from DVLA?
You paying for them to check the car they're selling is right and paying again for delivery when you have to go pick the car up, twice as it seems!
You're in it now, might as well take the £99.
Hope you're not relying on them for warranty!

To be fair their are delays with private registrations.
Used to be able to sort them on the day at the local office but they've all been closed.
Shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks from posting.
It shouldn't really have had the old plate removed. worst case get them to put the old reg back on and go back to them once the transfer has taken place to swap plates.
