Afternoon Ladies & Gents

Have more than a few video 8 tapes of the kids as they were growing up (20+ years’ worth) would love to copy them to my PC so that I can back them up and edit into something meaningful, rather than just a box full of assorted memories, which I assume will gradually deteriorate

Help and advice about how I might go about achieving the above would be much appreciated, list of kit I might need would be helpful

Many thanks

Or if you don't want to spend a lot of money and are happy with average to mediocre results you can play the tapes and use a hd camcorder and a tripod.
