If the saloon looks like the rendering above, Aston will surely sell every one they make. A refreshing change from all the MB and MB wannabes out there.

I only hope they've got the sense to make it and the balls to badge it a Lagonda.

The same was said of the Rapide.

The Rapide IMO was compromised for rear comfort
I presume this new Aston will be a full 4 seater.
I do hope they do a Volante version.
P.S. Is it just me,it does look a lot like the current Jag XJ.

The front does, but at least it looks good. Everything behind the B pillar looks like something from the 1980s and doesn't suit it, IMO. It looks like they started designing it from the front, then half-way through fired the design team and gave it to Porsche designers, who just went "meh, let's use the 80s version and go for a long lunch..."

Thanks.

The wide chrome strip on the c pillar looks like borrowed from a XJ X350.

No, simply no.

And, AM, please take note, we also do not want an M3 competitor, anything "entry level" and so on. Leave that to Porsche.

I agree. AM should leave the making of gobfulls of money to other companies and continue to make expensive, low volume cars. Nothing like hovering around profitability to keep management on their toes smile
