Offers on my Tuscan
Discussion
OK, some will know that my Tuscan is up for sale at the moment, and I have had some good interest in it.
On the other hand, I have also had the usual idiots pestering me too - you know who you are
(nothing against the Irish per se)
So, if you happen to be reading this (and not participating because you have been suspended from PHs)
* no, I will not accept your "offers"
* I won't even sell my car to you - even if you offer me double (hell will freeze over first)
* why do you withhold your number and never leave it in your ill timed voice messages I wonder?
* selling a car on PHs isn't "hassle" - so selling my car to you woundn't save me any
* don't patronise me, "boy"
Of course, feel free to continue to leave silly messages and entertain me - as no doubt you will

I wouldn't describe it as harassment really, and I wouldn't want to point the finger at anyone in particular, but the evidence is rather compelling!
I'm letting fate decide whether I continue with TVR ownership now or in the future. As Austin Powers would say, I feel a bit like I've lost my mojo. That combined with many other things in my life right now is meaning that cars have slipped down my list of priorities and that health, wealth and happiness are right at the top.
Not really expecting the car to sell at this time of year anyway - too much competition with Christmas consumerism. And as soon as spring and better weather arrives, then I may have discovered where I left my mojo.
In the meantime, I have to put up with clowns suffering from 'twativagitis' ( as Mr BO Selecta says).

Whatever you decide, thanks for all the assist over the last two years. Hope you are around quite a while longer.

Di, thanks for your companionship, I'm not going anywhere! Just investigating movin' on from the Tugger. Had TVRs for 5-6 years now and may not appreciate them as much as I used to. Probably a case of just being too familiar with them now. Have to say, the Tuscan has overall been a joy to own - but I probably don't use it enough to merit owning it at the moment. It has brought me happiness and extended the circle of people I have met and the circle of people I would like to meet, yourself included! One thing that has been playing on my mind is to go for a classic TVR rather than a contemporary one - like an original Tuscan from the 1960s (although they are few and far between) - then lavish it with TLC to see it restored and presented at its best - but I still don't have my TVR/car mojo.
L.A., still running a trusty and seemingly indestructible Saab 9-5 2.0 turbo for the daily and family hack. Its great. Its an all mod cons, car phone, electric everything, automatic point and shoot cruise mobile. Its 2nd hand and I suspect that it has been tweaked because its seems alot more pokey than other ~150bhp cars I have owned. From point to point, its a hoot and infinetly more discrete than Trev when cruising the Queen's motorways. No way near as powerful mind and no Speed Six roar - but it certainly has its place in the armourary.
