Best way to put the front (only) of a 997 on axle stands?

Apologies if this is daft question of the day, but what's the best way to get the front of my 997.2 on to axle stands? If I jack the car using the front jacking points, there doesn't appear to be any other safe location for the stands.

Am I missing something, just bl**dy thick, or both?

I've use my axle stands under the inboard end of coffin arms. Hard rubber cup on top of stand tube fits securely to arm end. Used this method to replace discs etc , obviously not suitable if coffin arms/ ball joints to be worked on.

Jack on the rear jacking points and it will lift front high enough to get stand under front jacking points. Do one side then the other, very easy. Advantage of engine in the back.

Many thanks for the replies - I'll try jacking the car at the back and see if I can get the stands under the front jacking points.

Definitely this.

Wish the rear were so easy!

Only thing I'd add, do it in stages if you are going up very high to avoid too much angle on the stands, i.e. first raise one side so that the axle stand just about fits, then do the other side, then return to side 1 and lift some more etc.
