Gloucestershire towing dolly rental

Would anyone know of a place or person in Gloucestershire where I can rent a towing dolly for a few days?

Plan to buy / pick up a classic car near Paris!

Doubt you will find anyone as they aren't legal except for recovery of a stranded vehicle or if the brakes are connected to the dolly/A frame which might not be practical sorry a trailer or truck is the only option ,

What you probably want is a long established ph'er with a car transport co delivering a pair to Paris next wk then returning to blighty with space & with £10million insurance who moves classics daily.....

I can't quite think who could fit that bill, other than this particular reptilian named transport co.

Except if the trailer (car)has a brakeing system it has to function hence the brake hook up on even tiny cars on motorhome A frame set ups

What happens if a back wheel goes wrong?

Use a fecking trailer then you don't need wheels

I passed a Mk1 Mondeo towing a 56 plate Zafira along the M1 yesterday on one of those Dollys. Safe to say I got past it ASAP.
