Hey Guys n Gals, Iv been on here for quite a while, just been a bit dormant. Anyhow, my good lady has just brought an 02 Cooper. On the journey back, I was reading the owners manuel while she drove and this one does NOT have the OBC giving fuel range/mpg/etc etc.
1st question,Can you just plug in the indicator stalk WITH the OBC switch and activate the settings or is there more to it?
2nd ?,, If i fit led/smd light to interior will it mess with the OBC ?

IIRC, way back in 2001, OBC was about a £150 option.

I believe it may be enabled.

I use LEDs that have canbus chips in without problems.
