So . . .

I'm gonna start shooting in raw mode (where flash space is not going to be a problem - ie. normally) . . . and was wondering what utils people use for noise reduction . . . ?

I use Photochop almost exclusively for playing with images, images from a D70 usually.

So are there any PS plugins that are good at the job ? Or is there a better way . . .

My copy of PS appears to understand nikon raw format (nef ?) and allows me to do some minimal exposure/white balance adjustments on import . . .

I dare say Phil will be along shortly. I think "plug-ins" are his thing.

Noiseware is VERY good, and learns the noise profile of your camera all the time, rather than you having to teach it as with NeatImage.

I have tried both, and Noiseware got my money - very simple to use too, the "Portrait" profile is excellent, I use it all the time.
