clutch release bearing jaguar e type

Hi can anyone tell me if its possible to change this without taking engine out of the car it is a 1970 series 2 2+2 the engine has only just been fully rebuilt and it appears the release bearing hasn't been returning far enough due to crap in master cylinder (just about only thing on the car that hadn't been changed)thanks in advance
