Seat Leon Mirrors

Hi there,
I was tinkering with my mirrors over the weekend and read the other thread about fitting the Audi TT mirrors. on the way to the shops I parked next to a Seat Leon and looking at the mirrors and base I quite liked them even though originally they are not fully painted, just the upper half of the thingy.
I went on ebay to find some more pictures and what I really liked about them was that the have just one simple central fitting bolt as opposed to the TT mirrors.
I have attached an ebay link so you can easily see what I mean.

Another question, apart from the mirror glass, is there a difference in LHD and RHD mirrors when it comes to the angle they fit? cause sometimes TT or Seat mirrors go really cheep over here in Germany but my Chim is RHD of course.

only word of caution I have is how big these things can be, I got a mk7? fiesta light to try out, didnt look too bad on the festa but was HUGE on the chim, have to say I am very happy with my TT mirrors

How about price? We all know about TVR-tax, but I am discovering a similar thing called Audi-tax. It makes a £350 Bosch aircon compressor cost £1250 from an Audi main dealer. That's without fitting.....

Think I paidj £30 plus postage off ebay for a 2nd hand pair, as I was having the paint done anyway that didn't matter

good point, I should probably take the measuring tape with me next time.

What about RHD to LHD, do you think the mirrors are all the same or is there possibly a difference in the moulding of the plastic parts regarding the angle of fitment. Anybody got a clue?
