Budget 86-89 porsche 930 g50
Discussion
There's this one at Hexagon for £70k - http://hexagonmodernclassics.com/car_sales/Porsche...
Yes - I had seen that and initially thought £20k
Overpriced. The reason for the original post.
Following peoples comments - maybe £5k overpriced.
Like the g50 transmission having driven both examples and
Thought this would be a better investment in the long term.
Anyone have any experience of bartering with Hexagon ?

By all accounts they are overcharging anyway, so your initial thoughts may be correct. So bargaining might get you the car for the 'correct ' price Overpriced. The reason for the original post.

Don't pay extra for the 5 speed.
I had an 89 5 speed (the only year to have a G50)
Great car to look at in the garage and thats about as far as i'd go, kept it 12 months and got a 996 gt2 proper piece of kit
The only reason they are more money is because there's less around and to be honest they are well over-priced now.

To be fair, it's all subjective.I had an 89 5 speed (the only year to have a G50)

I personally prefer the older cars over the modern stuff. Having said that, I wouldn't want to drive it everyday. They may be 'overpriced' to some or fair value to others.
If you want one, buy one. They look a whole lot nicer than a number on a bank statement.....

The 5 speed is a far better car to drive than the 4 speed. Less of an obvious 'hole' due to the turbo. Gt2 totally different car...I had an 89 5 speed (the only year to have a G50)
