I cant beleive Ive got 14000 miles out of the original S03 's on my GTO 3. They are now, of course, about finished and I need to choose some replacements.

I fancy Yokahama A048's for the dry weather grip but suspect they wont last long nor will they work too good in the damp.Clearly I should consider S03 's again or perhaps the P Zero Rossos if they fit.

Any advice would be appreciated and also who in the Northwest can supply

Been there, done that.

SO3's can't be beaten for the road.

If you do a lot of track days then the P's are worth a shout, but you'll not get the best out of them unless you change the shocks etc, otherwise do what I did and stick to the SO3's.

I have 2 sets of wheels, one with 048R, another with so3's.

The 048R's are fine in the damp it is standing water that leaves you a bit scared!

Cheers

Nathan, did you get spare wheels from Noble and if so do you mind me asking how much?

I got 2 new ones at 760 odd plus vat each and 2 secondhand, one from the factory and one from TVR gatwick when they were getting rid of spares.

I think the factory have reduced the price of the wheels now. If your insurance will let you I'd have a chat with paul C and see how he is getting on with getting some strong, light track wheels made as they should be cheaper than the factory ones.

Nick,

There's nothing to touch the S0-3s for excellent all-round performance. I'd stick with them if you use the car more on the road than the track.
