Chaps...just looking through a few things and came across the below advert...

Firstly I thought there were around 1200 996 Turbo S (700 odd coupes, 500 cabs) plus is that true what has been written here? - the last of them had even more power than the std X50 car and were hand built? I think it could be shall we say 'enthusiastic asdvertising' but for any in the know on here would be interested....

Also on my friend's 996 Turbo S he had the model designation below the heater controls too...

Don't know about the Nos, but I had an X50 and a S, both had 450, the X50 option was also dealer fit so doubt if it was all hand built...Quick cars though...

There were more than 50 996 Turbo S Cabs sold

I sold my car with just over 50,000 miles for £31500 in Feb in readiness for my GT3

And that white car was for sale then .....

Does not look great in my opinion

Agreed Apolo I thought the Turbo S was just the X50 and ceramics essentially...

and me, but the engines were deff not hand built, in the same way that 6GT2s or the 997GT2s were...
