Very high priced cars,will they ever sell?

Having to look for a car to replace our faithful Honda CRV,just managed to pass the 200k mile mark but it failed the MOT test with a long list this time.
Came across these offerings while browsing around,are they dreaming or what......

'52 Honda HRV,71k miles,£5000!
'06 (Not later shape) Honda CRV,36k miles,£9000!
'53 Vauxhall Omega,35k miles,£5000!

There is a dealer near Manchester got an R reg CRV in and I kid you not it has been there for YEARS,I bet it has been in their showroom for ten years.

Makes me think of the dealer on the North Circular, just after Neasden on the left as you go clockwise.

I think they used to be a Rover franchise and now have maybe 20 cars on the front, Astras, Metros, Rover 200's that kind of thing.

Generally priced at £1995 when you could puck one up on Ebay for £300 and they don't look in very good nick either.

There are literally thousands driving by an hour so perhaps they find the odd mug. Looks odd though.

There's a used car dealer, local to us, who prices everything £1000 more than it should be. Sells the stuff though, because 70% of people can't actually be arsed to look too far.

CRVs always seem expensive to me at the best of times - good sturdy reputation, I guess - but those prices seem especially steep.

There was a good post on this garage on here some time ago - I think a PHer visited and took photos and spoke the guy running it. It remained a bit of an enigma, if I recall correctly, in that it wasn't clear why there were so many averagely interesting cars of 80s and 90s vintage at such relatively high prices.
