Astra Estate Automatic - Information and Advice appreciated

I'm currently looking for a mid size estate car with an automatic gearbox due to developing a dodgy knee!

The Astra is the ideal size, plus it's got a low boot lip that makes it easier for my elderly dog to jump in the boot. I also particularly like the Design model and the prices seem good too.

There is one doubt I have about such a car and that is the auto gearbox which I believe can be prone to problems due to coolant getting into the gearbox oil via the radiator.

I would welcome some information and advice on this issue as it is the only thing that's stopping me from going to look at some Astras. Are all the H models affected and has there been a recall which could have resolved the problem?
