its not the same as my austin 7 engine in my ruby but its very similar.

It is a 750cc side valve A series engine - the gearbox looks a little big so it could be from an A7 ulster maybe?

Not even close to an Austin 7 Engine, which has alloy crankcase and g/box castings, not sure its from any Austin.
my guess may ?? be Ford or Rootes group
