B service question

Does anyone know the best place I can around the nottingham area for a B Service with out getting ripped off. (s2 sports tourer)

Took mine to Brooke Kennsington at Bicester. Took me about 11/2 to get there from Nottingham.
Can't rember how much the sevice was because I had some mods done as well.

I live in Chesterfield but my car goes to either Paul Matty's or Nick Whale's, both now in Bromsgrove, a little bit nearer than Bicester (not by much), wouldn't go to the local dealers in South Yorkshire after two bad experience's, 1 small, 1 not so small. My recommendation is to avoid the dealers in Derbyshire and Leicestershire (we all know who they are)
As for costs, B service was £ 200 last time

Ive been quoted £463 by a main dealer, checking out prices I dont know how they can justify this. Do you know of any local specialists, its just i cant leave the car cuz its my only transport. Ive been told a specialist can stamp ur service history, its dont just to have to be a dealer?

if you can drive to west birmingham there is Horizon Motorsport - a specialist who as well as being reasonable have advice on suspension set-up etc - am getting my geo done at the next service with them. They do stamp the book too, I think it says "Lotus Specialist" or something.

Buyers are aware that many owners go down this route and that is not necessarily 'a bad thing' (as long as car is out of warranty)
