Very sad news for everyone who worked there.
To clear up the understandable confusion around the Unipart name this is all the car parts bits of the company, and the national network of motor factors. So your local Unipart or Partco branch is probably no more, and you won't be able to get Unipart batteries, oil, filters, brakes etc.
It doesn't include the logistics and distribution bits for other companies (Jaguar, ASOS, McLaren, Vodafone, Sky etc), or the retail car-care stuff you buy at petrol station forecourts. The communications team at Unipart Group seem to have done an average-to-poor job of getting this message across and have resorted to shouting on Twitter at people who just call it 'Unipart'.
