Supercar (convertible) with decent boot space ?

When i get bored i tend to find myself browsing the classifieds on here a lot, looking at either cars i've seen drive past me, cars that have been posted in the readers car section here, or cars i still want to own one day.

I also love to look at cars that come under my "not a chance in the world mate, unless you win the lottery" section, and as i've bought a lucky dip for tonight i'm already looking in the classifieds and have spend the last half hour browsing Gallardo's, F430's, and Audi R8.

I'm not being gready, i'm happy with a couple of ton, just enough the pay of the mortgage and buy a nice supercar.

Though as i've got a roadtrip to Holland coming up, i starting thinking a bit more sensible, as we're gonna be taking a load of stuff back, so i'll need a big boot.

But none of the supercars i tend to look at has a big boot. The only one so far i've thought of is the Maserati grancabrio (where you can at least store some stuff on the small bag seats.

So what other supercars are there, that i can add to my imaginary wish list. They need to be a :

- Supercar
- Convertible.
- Able to do longer journeys in the rain (so Cobra's etc wouldn't be great)
- At least a V8
- Have big boot space

A 911 Turbo would offer supercar performance (although perhaps no longer an all round supercar in the modern sense of the word) and has a decent amount of storage in the front boot and the cabin.

458 and California both have pretty decent boots.

At opposite ends of the car obviously. Cali is best though, has a luggage flap thingie over the rear seats.

Vantage roadster boot isn't too shabby for a rag top either.

ff is probably best I can think of though.

Not a supercar, and available for 'pennies' compared to the others mentioned, but a chimaera 500 ticks all the other boxes...

Not sure if you'd count the M6 as a supercar per se but the performance is certainly up there.

Reasonable boot plus space on the back seat.

I think you might be surprised by how small the boot on a Grancabrio is!



As mentioned, SLR (or an SLS) would be better in terms of outright boot space.
